Lloyd couldn't help but miss Kai, he knew they would find him but at that moment it seemed kind of hopeless, they were lacking in leads and information and they didn't even know if the ninja was alive, so maybe he was being a little distant but no one has noticed yet so its fine. Well no one other than Arin has noticed and he's gonna confront his favorite ninja and hopefully make him feel at least a little bit better and maybe get a little bit of closure for himself as well.
Lloyd is being stupid and holding his emotions in and his child decides he's done with his father- I mean master being stupid and decides to confront him and they have a nice moment because of it.
