Or Loki is a child of Thanos doomed by the narrative he was forced into. Good thing there are those who don't believe in the narrative.

Summary
Nothing as been the same for Mobius M. Mobius since Loki sacrificed himself to save the multiverse. Now Mobius is left to wait until the end of time-however long that takes-for Loki to return. And his guilt and regret are overwhelming.
Mobius makes the decision to try to redeem a Loki from a timeline similar to the main timeline with very few changes-a Loki from the Battle of New York. A Loki very similar to his Loki.
He wants to see to it that one Loki in the timeline does get a happy ending.
It’s a purely professional mission. Repaying a debt.
But as soon as Mobius sees this Loki, things begin to go wrong. Mobius accidentally changes things for the worst, strengthening HYDRA, wounding Nick Fury, and above all else Mobius is falling head over heels for this Loki who is so similar to his Loki, yet so different at the same time.
And this Loki seems to be falling for him as well.
But is this Loki really in love with Mobius, really willing to change?
Or is Mobius just falling for another one of the God of Mischief’s brilliant schemes?Series

Summary
As a state-of-the-art B-class wormhole-capable deep-space research vessel, I do not consider myself to have many serious design flaws. Every piece of me has been meticulously crafted, is regularly maintained and upgraded, and there is very little I cannot do if I set my several dozen exabytes of processing power upon the task. This is why the Pansystem University of Mihira and New Tideland’s extra-curricular oversight committee deemed me more than capable of operating unmanned on the occasional intelligence-gathering reconnaissance mission. It is for the sake of both necessity and convenience that these missions are camouflaged as cargo runs.
Nonetheless, it is an unmistakable oversight that I am capable of being bored. It is also incredibly annoying that unmanned cargo runs are so dull.

Summary
“They are hiding something from us specifically, and you aren’t, at the least, interested in knowing what?”
“I can’t say I am,” Mobius admits, and to Loki’s befuddled expression, he shrugs. “What’s the fuss? I’m sure it’s not anything dangerous, if that’s what you’re worried about. As long as the world’s not ending, that ain’t my business.” Mobius recites this as if it’s some sort of prophecy to go by. As if letting things go right under your nose is a good thing.
“It might,” Loki points out, brows raising. “We don’t know. It could be life-threatening. Universe-ending. A case of the multiverse splitting apart, perhaps.”
“We’re the TVA. Not you in 2012.” Mobius wears an expression that is most comparable to a very tired babysitter. He grabs his mug the moment the coffee machine stops dispensing, and, sipping it, goes to exit the room. He jerks his head to indicate for Loki to follow. Loki does. “They’re not planning to conquer New York.”
Or, the TVA starts a betting pool, Loki has FOMO, and Mobius, really, could not care less.

The arm around him tightened for a moment, the awe and pride in Mobius’ voice unmistakable.
“So for gods’ sake, go lie down for a bit,” he murmured, pressing his cheek to Loki’s forehead.
Fresh from escaping the Multiversal Tree, Loki requires some guidance from Mobius in his ongoing acclimation... specifically, getting some much-needed R&R.

Summary
Mobius believes him, is the thing. Believes he’s innocent. Also believes he has no one in his corner besides Mobius. Loki can’t exactly hire someone to look into it, nor does he trust anyone very easily. And maybe Mobius is being manipulated, but helping him is still the right thing to do.
The fact that he’s maybe a little in love with Loki, that he’d do anything for him anyway, is irrelevant.
(Mobius spends his days keeping his eye on parolees and helping them re-enter society, and he's certainly not expecting his latest case—a trust-fund kid with a white collar conviction—to be any different than any of his others. But Loki Odinson proves to be full of surprises, including an uncanny ability to get Mobius to break every one of his personal and professional rules.)

Summary
Loki's been given a second chance, and he's not going to waste it.
When He Who Remains offered Loki and Sylvie their supposed dream lives, they'd scoffed at the idea. Instead, they chose to insert themselves into the Sacred Timeline in their own way (with Mobius, too, of course). And that's how they ended up here in Midgard, face-to-face with the Avengers of this timeline -- and the timeline's Loki, too. After a hard-won invitation home, the Lokis, Sylvie, and Mobius have to adjust to the calm, peaceful life in Asgard, a stark difference from the chaos they've grown so used to.
