Summary
What does it mean to love? Bdubs’ new neighbour Etho is mysterious, but Bdubs can't help but feel like his neighbour is similar to him in a way he can't explain.

Bdubs just had to take a peak inside. Blame his inner interior designer. Bdubs knocked on Etho’s door yet again. Eventually, Etho peered out of his purple door, hiding behind it as if it were a shield.
“Hi neighbour! Are you mostly moved in now?”
After a brief silence, Etho answered, “Eh, still got boxes around.”
“Well,” Bdubs grinned, “when you’re done unpacking those, when’s the house warming party?"
“House warming party?” Etho questioned in a tone that said ‘not happening.’
“Oh come on! Buying a house is a big deal! It's real grown up mature stuff. Plus, all of us neighbours are pretty close, all nice people!”
“Can’t.”
“Oh not this again! Why?”
Etho looked down, fidgeting with his sleeve before saying, “it’s nothing.” He moved to shut the door in Bdub’s face, but Bdubs shot out his foot to jam between the door.

Summary
In an alternate world, PVP evolved into robotic fights, "bot fighting" as the community calls it. Bot fighters are celebrities, with massive followings and high expectations. Mumbo Jumbo works for the bot fighting league ConVex as one of their top-billing bot fighters. But when Scar, the CEO, gets the idea to hire a partner for Mumbo, he is entirely against the idea. Entire Grian, a rookie bot fighter with a habit of pushing Mumbo's buttons. The pair despise each other from the moment they're put together. Can they overcome their differences to succeed in the bot fighting world? Or will their careers be over before they even started?

Summary
The jenga tower collapsed again, causing Joel to groan out of loss, which itself made Lizzie’s laugh and hurrays of win even louder. The game night’s second game had caused the two to tie, so the group had suggested a finale to be played this way as they waited for Scott and Pearl to arrive, Joel had managed to convince them to play two more rounds.

In a nutshell this fic is based within a modern setting, Joel and Etho are currently roommates and hosting a montly gamenight. This fic is based during winter as this was originally going to be a Christmas/ending of the year gift to a friend and I started writing it while being locked in my house due to a snow storm.
