Before he was Megatron, he was D-16 — a young mech who believed in the Decepticon cause as Megatronus Prime envisioned it. He trained under Starscream, the Prime’s right hand and second-in-command, a brilliant strategist who shaped D-16 into something greater than a soldier.
Then Megatronus Prime died.
Starscream vanished.
And D-16 felt that loss like a fracture in his spark.
Time passed. D-16 became Megatron. The war consumed Cybertron. Ideals twisted. The Decepticons became something harsher, something unrecognizable.
Until the Autobots discover the long-lost flagship of Megatronus Prime — and inside it, sealed in stasis, they find Starscream. Alive.

The base had felt suffocating as of late, and he couldn’t wait to get away from there. Hopefully they will be going back home soon, despite Prowl having arrived back on Earth not that many solar cycles ago.
It had been a mistake coming back here…

Summary
Prince Starscream hasn't had it very lucky where his mental health is concerned.
His royal family staged a coup when he was just a few vorns old, and he's spent his life living through intense media scrutiny and the constant threat of assassination. His situation only worsens when, after graduating, the angry disposed nobles find him trining, not with their pawns, but with a known criminal.
Starscream wants out of Vos, and with the Iaconian border finally opening up it's looking like he's finally gotten his chance.
Meanwhile, Skyfire decides to attend university in Iacon to broaden his horizons. The newly-opened city of fliers is strange and interesting, but what's really interesting is his new lab partner, a peculiar and secretive Vosnian named Starstreaker.
