Summary
Following the events of Before Crisis, Rufus has been under house arrest within the Turks Secret Headquarters for four years. Even the President doesn't know the exact location of Rufus' whereabouts and with the clock ticking on a kill order the President executed, Rufus requests to meet with Tseng one-on-one to share the intelligence he has retrieved regarding Veld's whereabouts. Tseng makes the decision to indulge Rufus' request.
The only thing is, Tseng wasn't expecting Rufus to provide him with a secondary contract unrelated to the matter at hand.
(tl;dr - Rufus has decided he wants to sleep with Tseng and takes the most inopportune moment to share that decision with Tseng)Series

Summary
Nearly a year after the fall of the Sector Seven plate and Aerith's successful capture, Rufus comes to Tseng with a new assignment: He wants to move the Ancient out of specimen containment and into Tseng's apartment. A reward for her obedience and a test to determine whether or not she deserves to be more than a prisoner of Shinra. It's simple enough, only a trial, and how could Tseng ever refuse a mission handed to him by the company?
When Aerith moves in, the desire for freedom lingering beneath her supposed docility rears its ugly head. The only complications Tseng hadn't prepared for were his own feelings, the conflict between them and his duty.
Whether he likes it or not, Aerith is going to make him choose.

*MAJOR SPOILERS FOR CRISIS CORE FFVII AND CRISIS CORE FFVII REUNION* - most people probably already know but since the remaster has only recently come out the warning is here just in case.
Reno and Rude discover Zack’s body, and as it dawns on them that they were too late, Reno has to call Tseng to break the news.
I’m so sorry for this - I wrote this immediately after finishing Crisis Core Reunion and have only just recovered enough to actually post it. The ending of that game broke me, and really got me thinking about how the Turks would react to finding Zack and realising that they never managed to get him back safely.
