Summary
Punch Up is pretty sure Robert thinks he's been asked to join their date night. To be fair, were it anyone besides Robert, they would've figured it out about six dates ago, but their beloved dispatcher still grapples with the concept that people might actually find him attractive and ask him on a date. Granted, that iswhat had happened, kind of, but the main idea was that Robert didn't eat enough and they always went out to a really filling restaurant. So it was actually Punch Up and Coupé attempting to get him back to a healthy weight post-coma. The date was incidental.
It's fine. He figures it out eventually, and they even manage to convince him that, no, really, they do want him there. In return, he decides to take them somewhere extra special.

Robert keeps bringing in these elaborate packed bento boxes into the office, at the surprise of everyone on the team. They’re used to their dispatcher's lunches being exclusively Twinkies and vending machine junk. Most of The Z Team is relieved to see actual food, so why is Flambae so upset?

And not too long ago, he and the Z-team successfully arrested almost all of her gang, save for Glacia herself. When Glacia starts wreaking havoc in the city once again, it becomes apparent she intends to get revenge. And what better way than to serve revenge on a freezing platter?

Shapeshifting was only one of the tricks they had on their sleeve, or perhaps the better term was wear.

“Good.” The voice was nearly a purr in his ear, causing the hair on the back of his neck to rise. He was not getting paid enough for this.

Why are they circling back on the villain topic? Whatever, Robert can roll with this.
“Oh yeah, so that means to get to know me, you either have to defeat my eight evil teammates,” Robert pauses, to make it seem like he is thinking, “or… you can buy–”
“I’ll do it!” ArrowRoot interrupts.
“– me a drink– what?” Robert freezes in his tracks.
ArrowRoot puffs his chest out like a peacock. Maybe a bull would be a better analogy for the guy. “Those assholes? I could totally take them on for you.”
What the fuck.

Getting free drinks ends up more of a hassle than intended when a newbie hero seems to get it in his head that Robert is some ‘damsel-in-distress.’ Now Robert has to deal with some guy harassing his team, all while managing said team.
The Z-Team isn’t exactly making it easier either.
This is going to be a very long week.
(Or the one where some guy tries to defeat Robert’s seven- er eight evil
