    This takes place in the same universe as "Superman's Pal, the Shadow Demon"!

    The shadows of Gotham had come alive.
    The creature was massive, taller than a man, writhed in shadows, that seemed to move with an unnatural breath.
    It was made of shades of black, the darkest forming its head, hands and feet, and pooling around it, resembling a cape or wings, like those of a bat.
    Tall horns extended from it’s head, reminiscent of the ears of a bat, long claws tipped it’s hands.
    The only part that looked human at first glance was the lower half of it’s face, which was the grey of a corpse, traceries of black veins visible beneath the skin.
    It’s eyes glowed white, almost seeming to suck him into them.
    (...)
    Gordan swallowed, trying to clear his throat, not to scream, a scream would be useless in Gotham, but to ask a question.
    The creature reached out cautiously toward him with the back of a hand, the way a human would approach an unfamiliar cat
    “Are you the one who has been leaving criminals tied up outside the station?”

    Mike is in bed, sulking.

    Well, not just sulking. He’s mainly here because the pulsing warmth between his legs, and by extension throughout his whole body, got too persistent and uncomfortable to ignore. But now he’s battling with the fact that his hindbrain is telling him he desperately needs to get railed, despite the fact that he’d actually rather crawl out of his own skin.

    So, also sulking.

    Or: Being sex repulsed and going into heat is not the most fun of combinations for Mike. Luckily, Pac is there to help.

    “Is there something you’re hiding from me, Richie?”

    “Don’t call me that,” Dick says nervously. “I’m- I’m not-”

    “What should I call you, then?” Clark presses. “Richard? Songbird? Robin? Were you the first Robin?”

    Dick chitters in response, tongue forming inhuman birdlike syllables, and then slaps a hand over his mouth, eyes wide and pupils shrunken. “N- No,” he says unevenly. “No. I’m- I’m Dick. I’m just normal, really-”

    “You’re more than that,” Clark snaps. He’s so close, he can feel it. “Come on, Dick, you can trust me. You’re a vigilante, aren’t you? Tell me the truth.”

    “Please,” Dick gasps, doubling over. “Please, please, I can’t- it hurts-”

     

    Or, Clark comes to Gotham determined to disprove the rumors that say the Waynes are possessed by the eldritch, inhuman Bats. What happens is... not that.
