Childe processes just how different Rex Lapis, God of Contracts, and Zhongli, Wangsheng Funeral Consultant, really are.
They coincide at the worst of times, and it does some truly awful things to his heart.

“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”

”The brushes,” Xie Lian whispers. “I had to clean them. You’re back safe. Because I cleaned them, and arranged them like this.”
Confusion briefly takes over the concern on his face, and Hua Cheng’s brow furrows. “Gege? What do you mean — of course I am safe. We are in Ghost City, remember?”
The look that appears on Xie Lian’s face is a look of sheer shame, embarrassment, and sadness. If Hua Cheng’s heart was beating, it would have stopped.
(Or, Xie Lian is hit with an extremely bad brain day that has not happened in years. Hua Cheng helps him through it, and they find a way to overcome it, together.)

I may not have ocd, but I have other mental disorders and it always makes my day to see someone writing about a mental disorder and they have it themselves, so I know it will be accurate. I have sensory issues myself and I was very suprised to see most fics with it simply being smut fics or have it be obscenely inaccurate so when I find anything with my issues it makes me feel so heard and it helps me know that there is others like me who struggle the same way. I recently found a tgcf fic with Xie Lian having exactly my type of perfectionism and anxiety with any mistake ecuating to being a failure and I was is tears reading it because I felt so heard and Hua Cheng's simple words really helped me, and so I really want to show my appreciation that you write about your own struggles. It really helps to write about them and just know that you are helping so many people just by posting this, so thank you.
