Techno simply, really, really needed some book recommendations. Then he had to go and get involved with vampires.
Techno is not a vampire.
He's also not tan, that's because he doesn't go out much. He wears dark clothes because he thinks he looks good in them. And he's correct.
That doesn't explain at all why he's sitting at a table, surrounded by people who he thinks are actual vampires.

Wilbur took a deep breath. This was his life. He never wanted it to be this way. And although seeing the world grow from villages to towns and cites, seeing the spark of electricity begin to run through the very framework of their world, was nice. It was also so lonely.

He took another deep breath, preparing to jump to the roofs and make his way back home when tiny footsteps echoed around him.
He glanced back and saw a small blonde boy emerge from the darkness. His jaw dropped slightly. The kid was ringing his hands together nervously and looking from him to all around. Eyes constantly darting.

Another deep breath. His throat started to burn more intensely but he pushed the feeling down. It was stupid that his body wanted to be fed again already, after all, Dream had allowed him an extra meal before he went off to ensure he wouldn’t faint during the mission. It was very considerate of him and Tommy was thankful. He didn’t know if he’d made it through the night otherwise. The stress seemed to gnaw away at his reserves even more than usual. (Not that he’d much of those, anyway – his new body seemed to demand blood all the fucking time. It was disgusting. He really was a monster.)
OR
Tommy’s life hasn’t been that great recently with forcefully being turned into a vampire and being just barely kept alive by the hunters. And it’ll come to a quick end if he doesn’t prove to them that he can be useful. The annual Solstice ball at the Syndicate coven’s manor seems to be his chance to prove his worth: He needs to gather information about vampires there; information that can help the hunters bring them down. Easy, right?

“I can assure you that we keep our merchandise in prime condition,” the shopkeeper said, unlocking the cage door. The pinkette hummed. He shrugged the cape off, revealing a black poet’s shirt, ruffles adorning the sleeves.
Rich bastard, Phil thought.
Phil hissed, shuffling as far back as he could from the door. He could feel Wilbur pressed against his stomach doing the same. The shopkeeper frowned but the stranger stepped closer.
“Its name?”“We prefer to let the customers choose,” the shopkeeper replied smoothly. “Helps build a bond.”
The pinkette crouched, grabbing Phil’s chin and angling it so their eyes met.
“Your name?” he said, voice softer than before. Phil was quiet for a moment, considering.
He snapped at the man, lunging forward.

Wilbur loved his new family. His coven. They were everything he ever wanted and his instincts latched onto them with no problem. Hell- even his turning was perfect. He wasn’t a fussy fledgeling, at least according to Phil, and he had no issue with feeding from him.

Summary
The house across the street was painted in a sleek black color, with even the brick of the house being dark and monotone. Its lamps were expensive, with intricate designs and an odd coloring to them. They were a deep red, matching the flowers lined neatly in the flower boxes attached to the sills of all the windows of the house. The lawn was neatly trimmed, with almost no weeds in a way that was almost eerie. The entire thing was entirely too perfect for Tommy’s liking.

“Tommy? There’s an old abandoned mansion about a block from here.”
“No!” Tommy cried immediately. “It’s haunted! I’d rather freeze than sleep in there!”
“Tommy, darling, it’s not haunted,” Wilbur comforted. “Those are just urban legends to scare kids. Trust me, I wouldn’t suggest if I wasn’t sure we’d be safe.” Wilbur, honestly, had no clue if it was safe. Abandoned buildings were always a risk with their old architecture and caving in walls. Wilbur shushed Tommy before he could continue. “I’ll protect you. I always have, and I always will. Okay? Do you trust me, Toms?”
Tommy hesitated for a moment before giving a quiet “mhm.”

Summary
Tommy thought for a moment. If a vampire wanted to drink Tubbo dry, they would’ve done it by now, and Tommy would’ve either seen it on the news or a police officer would’ve come to their apartment to share the heartbreaking news. Vampires are strong, and while Tubbo wasn’t the weakest person on the planet, almost no human could resist a vampire’s strength. The blood loss would eventually make them too delirious and frail to even fathom escape.
Which left two possibilities:
One, the vampire felt bad about what they were doing and let Tubbo escape.
Or two, the vampire had the intent to turn Tubbo into a vampire.
If it was option one, then they got extremely fucking lucky. Tubbo would have to recover from the wound and blood loss, and then they’d be fine. Sure, Tommy would get super overprotective, but that would be the worst of it.
If it was option two, then they were utterly fucked fifty ways from Friday.

Or: Tommy is a vampire who lives in the city with his human best friend, Tubbo. After an unfortunate night leaves Tubbo in the midst of a vampire turning, Tommy has to consider going back to his past, or letting Tubbo die.
