Summary
When Nico is 14 and Percy goes missing he cannot stand to be at camp anymore and runs. Without paying attention to where he is going he ends up in a forest where he is attacked by a strange boy called Ticci-Toby who thinks that Nico's power over the dead is awesome! Though Nico doesn't know it, as Toby drags Nico home to meet his friends, this is the start of a very big adventure for all of them.

I am upset with the lack of fics about Kilgharrah and Merlin. He literally kick starts the whole plot!
Other facts
Kilgharrah is one of the only people who has actively supported Merlin throughout his entire journey. When he disagrees, he says so but tends to leave it at that.
He's a cool fire-breathing dragon
He symbolizes Merlin's connection to his father and legacy, as well as fatal errors Merlin has made.
Dragonlord responsibilities are the only thing (besides love) that have ever come between Merlin and Arthur.
Merlin and Kilgharrah are CANONICALLY BROTHERS. It's on their wiki pages! Why is no one talking about this. I'm disappointed in you all. Come enjoy some brotherhood dynamics
