Ah. Right. If Stephen was right, then this world is different. You may not even know Peter Quill in this universe. You must not, judging by the fact that you made eye contact earlier and there was no sign of recognition.
Still, Peter isn’t about to just let you walk away, so he tries to get your attention. Eventually, he settles for falling in step next to you and shooting a gaze at you sidelong.
