Summary
After hearing about the group's trip to the BDSM club in Ep3, Alastor takes Angel to one side with an intriguing proposition: An arrangement that seems too good to be true (even if Angel can't get his head around the whole 'no sex' part). What starts out as nothing more than a lucrative deal and a ticket to freedom turns Angel's world upside down, and by the time he finds his feet again, he finds he's in too deep, and there's no going back. Can they both get what they need without disastrous consequences? Only one way to find out.

Baek-Jin turns away, giving him his back. For the first time, he doesn’t seem made of stone. His shoulders are slightly slumped, his breath caught, a moment of fragility he tries to hide.

“Alright” he says finally, without looking at him.
Baek-Jin watches him.
“Alright? About what?”
Baku lifts his gaze slightly, there’s no challenge in it, only deep, resigned fatigue.
“I’ll have sex with you. The offer still stands, right?”
Baek-Jin feels the world end over him in that moment.
There’s no triumph in his eyes, only a subtle, disarming kind of shock. He understands that Baku’s agreeing not out of desire, but to set himself free.

Summary
The full collection of stories taking place in Gem Ascension's continuity: before, during, and after the main series. This is a combination of all stories from my Gem Ascension Saga and Stevidot Month 2019 series, plus any stories taking place in this continuity that won't be included in said collections.
Basic details: Peridot is the protagonist of this continuity; Steven is the deuteragonist. The primary series supplants all but the first few minutes of Change Your Mind and is canon divergent going forward from there. Affectionately called the "Bad Ending AU" by the author, but only when comparing the resolutions to CYM. It's not 100% dark, gritty, and edgy, but there are characters (major and minor) who permanently die and certain events massively shake up crucial story and environmental elements.
If you enjoy AUs that regularly give "Status Quo is God" the middle finger and have loads of worldbuilding, lore, and re-examinations on previous canon events, odds are you'll find this a fulfilling alternative to how Season 5 ends. Also offers fantastic insight on just how awful Homeworld life is for most gems.

The Radio Demon shook his head fitfully, trying to banish the darkness that enrobed his vision and letting out a throaty growl when it refused to budge. Of course, with the blindfold wrapped over his eyes and knotted neatly at the back of his head, he really shouldn’t have been surprised. He shouldn’t tolerate this robbery of his vision. He didn’t want to, but there was nothing he could do about it.
He rattled his wrists viciously to try and wrench them free, but they were still stretched above his head, spread and pinioned by manacles of angelic steel. He was suspended from what he could only assume was a ceiling or beam, but without sight there was no telling. He could have taken stock by calling out and seeing what his echoes fed him, but the bar gag in his mouth prevented even that. He clenched his razor sharp fangs around it and felt frustration in him rise when that bit of truculence yielded nothing.
The Radio Demon was trapped.
